About Awatuna Sunset Lodge
Kia Ora, and welcome to our magical seaside sanctuary.
We are Elizabeth and Selwyn, passionate owners with a decade of experience in tourism and accommodation.
After two adventurous years traveling across New Zealand in our 9-metre bus, we discovered Awatuna Sunset Lodge in November 2019. The breathtaking sea views captivated us, revealing the immense potential of this remarkable property and its grounds.
Originally built as a lodge in 2006, we dedicated two months to lovingly renovate the space and nurture the gardens before officially opening our doors on January 6, 2020. We chose the name Awatuna Sunset Lodge to honor the stunning sunsets that grace our horizon.
Our dedication to sustainability and exceptional guest experiences inspires us to continually enhance your stay, ensuring that every moment spent here is filled with peace and joy. We invite you to immerse yourself in the natural beauty that surrounds us and create unforgettable memories at Awatuna Sunset Lodge.
